PostSubject: [NJCAP] New drill & ceremonies resources   Sun Feb 24, 2008 10:12 am

A new drill and ceremonies instructor guide, student guide, and slides are available, courtesy of HQ AFJROTC. Units are encouraged to use the optional resources to support cadet leadership training. The instructor guide should be especially helpful to cadet and senior staff alike. Members may download the resources from the Cadet Drill & Ceremonies Homepage.

I would encourage all seniors and cadets who conduct training to review these resources and incorporate them into their squadron training programs. The best way to avoid the trap of teaching something wrong and/or learning something wrong is to periodically review CAP regulations and manuals that you think you already know. Even a C/Col who plans to teach drill to cadet airmen should first crack open the book.

Spread the word about these new tools. Thanks

Travis Pope, Maj, CAP
Director of Cadet Programs
